But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
The Bible tells us in Acts 1:8; “you shall be witnesses to ME.”
There is an emphasis here on the word “ME”
Our lives must be completely and totally committed, (not to the work) but to the call. We must have such fully devoted hearts to the purpose of which he called us that our total being must be saturated into the living oil that flows over us and through us as our dedicated hearts response in obedience to the Almighty God. We must so live and breathe the spirit of God that everything that comes from our intentions is the plan and purposes of our God according to the anointing and calling he gave us. When our focus is on His purpose and His goals, no matter where we go in this life, whether across the world or to our neighbors next door, we shall be witnesses to and of the Almighty God! T
he greatest compromise to this work is the very act of service that we give God every day. This busy work brings with it a watered down busy message with no power, that keeps the church from the blessings of Jesus. Jesus knocks on the door of our heart looking for that place of commitment once again. Truly if we would only surrender and step away from the busy-ness of what this world offers us, and keep our hearts in tune with His plan, then people of God, we shall truly be witnesses with power for the Almighty God.
One day we all want the Lord to look at us and say, ‘well done good and faithful servant enter into your rest.’ we ourselves are not seeking our fellow Pastors approval or a thumbs up on Facebook but we are seeking the approval of our father in heaven. One day, during the time of my anointing, the Lord Jesus took me into the spirit and showed me many things. One thing he showed me was a spirit from hell that was dressed in a nice suit and carried a large Bible that was never opened. God told me the name of this spirit and what it did. He called it a ‘religious do-gooder spirit’ always keeping the people of God busy with work within the church but not accomplishing mush for the anointing or calling that was put upon the lives of God’s people.
People of God, let us work harder to separate ourselves from the things of this world and spend more time in the presence of the Almighty. So, when we have opportunity to make a difference for the kingdom of God that we are acting from our anointing in being true witnesses for him.
I pray you will all continue to join us at 9pm every night and not grow weiry as we pray as a team.
May God bless you all.
He that has ears, let him hear what the spirit is speaking to the churches.
