STAND ON YOUR PROMISES
Galatians 3:22 NIV
But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
SO JUST WHAT WAS GIVEN US IN CHRIST?
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Phillipians 4:6+7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
These are just 4 of the promises from God in scripture. Galatians 3:22 is very plain: it tells us that all our promises are locked up and impossible to get to when we live a life of sin but, confess your sins and live for righteousness and all promises of God will be yours. These promises are not obtained just because you have a pretty face; no, you must speak! The verse goes on to say, that the promises are given to us by FAITH in Jesus and these promises will only come to those who believe. Mark 11:23-24.
My friends, faith is a substance that we must grab ahold of. It is the power of the Holy Spirit and it will not leave us rejected but it will put us at the right hand of the father with Jesus and soaring with the eagles!!
FAITH takes hold of something NOW!
FAITH, says YES, when life says NO!
FAITH says I CAN, when everyone tells you, you can’t!!
FAITH takes the place of what it is that we are hoping for!!
Are you needing school fees, a new house, or even a vehicle?
FAITH takes the place of what it is that you are believing God for.
Take a stand and declare with all power and authority what you want.
EXAMPLE OF A FAITH PRAYER:
Father, in Jesus name, I command Satan to get his hands off of my life and the promises of God to flow in Jesus name! For you promised oh God that I am blessed abundantly, above all that I can ask or imagine. That blessing is mine in Jesus name.
People of God, keep standing and don’t tire of doing good!! Our God is always faithful and he will do whatever you can believe.
